Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Joshua took on the stones at The Gathering II and successfully added his name to the roll of honour. His lift was witnessed by the appointed judges for the event Steve Gardner, Steve Murray, Cameron Ford, Jamie Gorrian, his family and the large crowd of athletes & spectators in attendance.

Joshua was a competitor at the 2013 IHGF Stones of Strength competition at Potarch which featured a strap assisted walk with the Dinnie Stones.
